Join to apply for the Service Coordinator - Gir Del-EN role at Guillevin .

The Guillevin GIR DEL Business Centre is the largest full-service mobile hydraulic facility in Western Canada, providing knowledgeable customer service for over 40 years.

Reporting to the Component Shop Service Manager, the Hydraulic Service Coordinator will support all facets of the department, including developing quotations, procuring materials, managing manpower, scheduling, quality documentation, and tool management.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support and assist Service Supervisor with department resources, including manpower, equipment, tools, and vehicles.
  • Coordinate all service department jobs and projects, including quotation development, job creation, work scope, procurement, manpower management, scheduling, documentation, and customer communication.
  • Research technical information for technicians to progress jobs.
  • Assist in deriving quotes by reviewing technician job breakdowns and estimates.
  • Monitor job profitability and costs during job progression.
  • Support timecard submissions and reviews.
  • Work towards increasing shop efficiency.
  • Manage stock inventory for shop supplies.
  • Identify and promote training opportunities for technicians.
  • Recognize and pursue opportunities for growth.
  • Communicate design change requests to engineering and service teams.
  • Support client relations with feedback.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a hydraulic service shop or similar environment.
