Job description

Job Type: Temporary Full Time (up to 6 months)

Job Outline:

Provides advanced level support in assisting Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in the provision of individual and group rehabilitative programs for patients.

Education & Qualifications:

  • 2 year Certificate or Diploma from a recognized Community College Program as a combined Occupational Therapy Assistant/Physiotherapy Assistant (preferred) OR a 1 year Certificate or Diploma from a recognized Community College Program as a combined Occupational Therapy Assistant/Physiotherapy Assistant plus at least one year working experience as a combined Occupational Therapy Assistant/Physiotherapy Assistant required.
  • Demonstrates a good understanding of the principles of rehabilitation
  • Ability to cope with the physical demands of the position
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated satisfactory job performance and attendance history required
