Overview

The Branch Operations Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Branch, including the management of assets.

Responsibilities

Interviewing, hiring, and training new team members; conducting performance appraisals, team member counseling, and disciplinary actions; addressing complaints and resolving problems when possible. Communicates regularly with the Regional Operations Manager and Human Resources when needed. Instills and maintains a customer service-oriented philosophy in all conduct to self and other team members. Prepares and submits annual operational budget for approval and develops plans for the efficient use of resources. Participates in planning personnel safety, ensures safety procedures are followed, and makes recommendations regarding safety issues. Coordinates with customers and Branch management team to evaluate, promote, and provide improved and expanded services in the area. Uses vehicle to deliver orders or pick up returned merchandise in a safe and courteous manner. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements: At least 4 years of prior leadership experience in a warehouse-related field. At least 1 year of cash handling experience. Comfortable with using Microsoft Office applications. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Eligible to work in the United States. Be available to open and close the warehouse, Monday through Friday, and Saturdays (as needed). Meet all applicable state-specific driver’s license requirements.

Ideal Candidates: Comfortable with all aspects of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel). Extremely organized and demonstrates the ability to prioritize effectively. Understands staffing requirements. Broad understanding of multiple department functions. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Excellent multitasking ability. Willingness to continue to evolve and develop personal skills to meet the changing environment. Demonstrated self-starter and motivated individual. Ability to challenge upwards – respectful pushback. Willingness to learn new skills and gain knowledge about all aspects of the Branch operations. Bilingual skills are preferred. Associates degree preferred. Understanding of P&L.

Education

High school diploma or GED equivalent. Associates degree preferred.

Certificates, Licenses

Willing to get powered equipment certification. Must meet all applicable state-specific driver's license requirements prior to driving a company vehicle to perform delivery duties. Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) per department standards.

Pay Range

USD $75,000.00 - USD $125,000.00 /Yr.
