Senior Inventory and Requisition Controller (Permanent)
Victoria, B.C.

Expected Salary: $56,215 to $84,323

In this role, you will:

  1. Oversee daily Inventory Control operations, supporting current projects and new opportunities.
  2. Develop Inventory Control Processes, Procedures, and Work Instructions.
  3. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Maintain documentation and Quality Assurance certifications.
  5. Manage supply chain risks and contribute to continuous improvement.
  6. Generate reports using Babcock’s inventory systems.
  7. Lead and develop reporting staff, set objectives, and manage performance.
  8. Promote a safety culture within Babcock Canada.
  9. Perform other relevant duties as needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent; college/university education is an asset.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Warehouse/Inventory Management within the last 5 years.
  • Understanding of risk management processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Supply Chain Certification (e.g., CPIM) is an asset.
  • Experience with ERP systems like IFS and DRMIS is an asset.
  • Flexibility for early mornings, late afternoons, weekends, and occasional travel.
  • Eligibility for Canadian NATO Secret Security, ITAR, and Controlled Goods Clearances.
