The District Sales Specialist covers Barrie/Simcoe/Parry Sound district

Responsibilities:

  • Establish new accounts by planning and organizing. Scheduling cold calls on potential clients and contacts within the retail market.
  • Manage assigned territory to ensure continued and new business growth and retention goals are met.
  • Sell our services via B2B, Cold Calling, retail contacts, fairs, and events in the community.
  • Develop outstanding relationships, identify customer needs, and develop strategic solutions for both existing customers and new prospects.
  • Coordinate visits and develop clear and effective proposals and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
  • Research and analyze your sales potential and determine the value of future customers.
  • Meet monthly sales and growth targets.
  • Complete market forecasting, create sales reports, and maximize fill rates and customer service level.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of successful experience as an outside sales representative including B2B with retail outlets.
  • Undergraduate degree/diploma considered an asset.
  • Ability to assess accounts and provide viable cost-effective solutions for clients.
  • Strong computer skills; previous experience with CRM’s an asset.
  • Exceptional negotiation and written/oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of professional selling and the ability to handle difficult, competitive selling situations.
  • Ability to effectively present information and negotiate with various levels of management.
