Compensation:

Commission-based (30%-70%, based on experience, client base, and other factors)

Job Summary:

The Massage Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic massage services to clients to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent client service, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals within the wellness center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform client assessments to determine individual needs and create personalized treatment plans.
• Provide a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue, relaxation, and therapeutic massage.
• Educate clients on self-care techniques, posture, and lifestyle adjustments to support their wellness goals.
• Maintain accurate records of client treatment history and progress.
• Collaborate with other wellness practitioners to provide integrated care.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients.
• Promote services through client education and participation in community wellness events.
• Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in massage therapy.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma in Massage Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid license to practice massage therapy in Manitoba.
• At least one year of professional experience after certification.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Client-focused approach with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
• Knowledge of holistic wellness practices is an asset.
