The Simcoe County District School Board is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Intermediate Clerk III – Accounting & Purchasing. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Accounting and Purchasing, the successful applicant will be responsible for: purchase card and expense claim administration, accounting system process documentation, issuing low value purchase orders, supporting the Purchasing department with the online bid portal, and performing various analyses using software applications, in accordance with the Board’s Policies and Procedures. This position also acts as a backup to support the Board’s weekly pay run.
The duties, responsibilities, and requirements for this position are not limited to those listed above and may include other tasks outlined in the Job Fact Sheet for Intermediate Clerk III.
This is a temporary 18-month position, 35 hours per week.
Participation in the OMERS Pension Plan is mandatory for all full-time employees, even if currently receiving an OMERS pension.
