Job Summary

We are continually searching for great talent; individuals who possess a deep commitment to the customers and markets we serve. If you would like to join a company that is committed to the success of each employee and offers challenge, purpose and the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally in a team-oriented environment, you'll enjoy a career with us! We understand that fostering a diverse and inclusive environment is critical for the success of our business, and we actively work towards it every day.

As a Director, Strategic Product Development, you will be leading a team of product managers and product specialists, responsible for driving innovation with the various product groups across Residential Lending Solutions (RLS). In this role, you will be primarily accountable for defining and driving the strategic direction of our RLS product suite platform evolution, reporting directly to the VP of Lender Servies. This role will work cross-functionally with the Product Execution group, Information Technology, Enterprise Sales and Lender Relations to ensure RLS is responding to future trends, customer needs, emerging technologies and market shifts. You will be accountable for gathering insights from the financial services and adjacent industries, focused on identifying future opportunities and bringing them forward in a long-term product roadmap that aligns to the broader RLS strategic plan. As part of that long-term product roadmap, you will also be responsible to plan and develop, execute, and monitor a market driven, customer-focused strategy to evolve and diversify the set of Products within the RLS ecosystem, including but not limited to identification and implementation of new products that align with FCT's corporate strategy.

HERE’S HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Responsible for translating ideas into concrete strategies, products and/or processes. Manage the execution and delivery, provide ongoing support for the business, and monitor success of current and new products.
  • Ensure the proper delivery of product development projects. This includes preparing the visioning, concept validation and final validation sessions. Develop, propose, support and partner with your Product Leads to execute roadmaps, communication, implementation plans and business cases.
  • Support the full product lifecycle from concept through to final execution and post implementation, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
  • Identify high-level delivery processes and work collaboratively to support cross-functional teams/internal stakeholders (i.e., Marketing Sales, Operations) across the company to ensure the effective and successful implementation of new products and enhancements.
  • Perform market and competitive analyses to monitor and stay abreast of current market trends and issues, identifying business opportunities, assessing competitive offerings, and anticipating changing needs. These insights should be largely drawn from ongoing and proactive customer and partner engagement at the most senior levels to ensure the product roadmap aligns with the needs of our customers, emerging market trends and competitive landscape.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in Senior Product Management roles
  • Familiarity with current product development methodologies (lean framework/agile development)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a product through all phases of product lifecycle: understanding market needs, understanding go-to-market activities (i.e. Customer Development), and defining/owning the customer experience
  • High level relationship management and influencing skills with the ability to sell concepts and benefits of new products.
  • A solutions-oriented problem solver
  • A strong leader who is self-motivated and able to work well independently or within a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to deal effectively with all levels of the organization and all customer constituents.
  • Degree in Business

HERE’S WHAT SETS US APART:

Through mentoring, innovative tools, and a variety of programs that engage and reward, we empower each employee to be great and drive results.

  • Comprehensive benefits that include virtual healthcare and an Employee & Family Assistance Program

  • Group retirement savings plan with company match

  • Paid holidays and generous paid time off

  • Hybrid work arrangements

  • Paid volunteer opportunities and charitable donation matching

  • Employee recognition programs that include referral incentives

  • Potential for performance-based incentives

  • The opportunity to participate in our stock purchase plan

  • And more!
