The Java Developer will be responsible for developing and supporting Global Wealth Management Systems, including trading, fee management, and reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Participate in technical delivery solutions for user requirements alongside Product Owners, Developers, Testers, and Business Systems Analysts.
2. Develop, integrate, and expand Portfolio Management applications.
3. Design, implement, and deliver high-quality software solutions adhering to architectural standards.
4. Provide production support during business hours.
5. Collaborate with technical and non-technical team members to identify solutions that achieve business results.
6. Partner proactively with business line representatives.
7. Resolve complex problems by applying financial and technological expertise to system design.
8. Conduct research, define user requirements, and liaise with users.
9. Prototype iteratively, delivering interim solutions until final deployment.
10. Facilitate planning, grooming, and ensure clear understanding of user stories by development and QA teams.
11. Develop test cases, perform testing, and support system implementation, including documentation and user training.
12. Continuously enhance knowledge of business strategies, policies, financial markets, and technology.

Required Skills and Experience:

1. Deep understanding of Object-Oriented techniques, Design Patterns, and familiarity with Java frameworks.
2. Experience with SOAP or RESTful web services.
3. Unix/Linux knowledge and shell scripting skills.
4. Database experience: Oracle, MySQL, with strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
5. Understanding of system and deployment environments.
6. Proficiency in business and technical analysis.
7. Experience with Wealth Management systems, trading, fee management, or reporting systems.
8. Excellent communication, time management, and project management skills.
9. Creativity, motivation, and analytical skills.
10. Experience in wealth applications or trading systems is an asset.
11. Certifications are a plus.
12. Support and development experience across technology teams.
13. Analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
14. Agile and DevOps experience is an asset.
