Responsible for developing and leading high-quality, strategic, scalable software solutions that align with the company’s goals and objectives. This role holds a strategic position within the software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment, and is key to shaping the technological advancements of the organization. Leads the continuous improvement of software development practices, actively driving the adoption of emerging technologies and fostering an environment of innovation. Regularly interacts with external vendors and strategic partners to explore new technologies and integrate solutions that enhance the company’s technological capabilities.

Application Development and Implementation

• Architect and oversee the development of complex software systems.
• Drive innovation by exploring and integrating advanced technologies that align with the company’s strategic goals.
• Provide technical leadership in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring deliverables meet high standards.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of systems and processes, aligning detailed technical specifications with strategic project goals.
• Create detailed architecture diagrams that accurately represent system structures and interactions, feeding into the validation plan.
• Contribute expertise to Good Practice (GxP) assessments and compliance, ensuring that all software systems meet regulatory and quality standards.

Support

• Serve as the technical expert, guiding teams in diagnosing and resolving high-impact issues.
• Develop strategies to enhance the support framework.
• Act as a consultant for advanced problem-solving, leveraging deep technical knowledge to propose innovative solutions to improve system functionality and user experience.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree + 4-6 years of related experience.
• Experience architecting scalable, high-data-volume, web-based applications in AWS.
• In-depth knowledge of the full software development lifecycle.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Strategic thinker and ability to identify opportunities for enhancements and technological innovation.

Additional Knowledge / Skills

• Front End Technologies : Angular.
• Back-end Technologies : AWS technologies, such as, but not limited to API Gateway, Amplify, Cognito, DynamoDB, Health Imaging, Lambda, Step Functions, PostgreSQL.
• Cloud Environment : AWS.
• Industry Experience : Medical Imaging, Clinical Trial software.
• Regulatory Knowledge : Experience operating in a highly regulated industry : Medical, Pharma, Automotive, experience working under Standards such as ISO13485, ISO14971, ISO60601, IEC62304.
