• Starting pay rate from $15.00/hour

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

1. Must be able to safely and efficiently operate the lift truck / clamp truck.
2. Observe necessary safety precautions.
3. Identify and report equipment problems, quality problems, unsafe practices, and conditions to warehouse management.
4. Operate gas and electric lift trucks and clamp lifts in and between departments, buildings, and grounds.
5. Move product through the facility.
6. Fill out necessary paperwork for reporting safety, quality, production, damages, and loading/unloading verification.
7. Collect and deliver a variety of materials, adhering to good safety practices.
8. Deliver materials to work areas as directed, stack materials in storage areas, and load shipments in trailers.
9. Prepare and check necessary receipts, records, and reports.
10. Maintain housekeeping on a daily basis: ensuring that all areas in which he/she works are clean and that all items are stored in their proper places.
11. Inspect, repack, and rework materials.
12. Support Lean initiatives.

Qualifications

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D or have relevant work experience. A current OSHA forklift certification is preferred. One year of previous experience as a lift truck/clamp lift operator is also preferred. He/She must be alert and attentive and able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. SAP experience is preferred.
