This role involves working collaboratively with our in-house experts in various disciplines such as air quality, aquatics, noise, hydrology, hydrogeology, geochemistry, heritage, human environment, terrestrial and engineering.

What you can expect to do here:

  • You will conduct environmental impact assessments and develop mitigation strategies for natural resource projects, particularly in northern environments.
  • You will collaborate with internal and external clients to ensure their needs are understood and met.
  • You will provide expertise and client deliverables on projects, including technical reports and field surveys.
  • You will manage relationships with government agencies and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • You will participate in multidisciplinary project teams and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.

What you'll bring to WSP:

  • A strong and demonstrated working knowledge of the potential environmental effects and benefits of natural resource projects.
  • University degree or equivalent education or experience in Ecology, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in conducting fieldwork and working autonomously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Access to a vehicle and a clean Driver’s Abstract.
