Role Overview

As the IT Architect & Team Lead at Collabria Financial Inc., you will play a dual role in both technical leadership and team management. You will support the manager by overseeing a multidisciplinary team and coordinating with external service providers to ensure the development, maintenance, and optimization of IT systems that support revolving credit account granting and management. This role demands deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership capabilities. You will guide your team through complex projects, ensure alignment with business goals, and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act as a technology expert and architectural lead, guiding work teams in the design, development, and implementation of IT solutions.

  2. Maintain proactive communication with IT Security and secure necessary approvals in a timely manner.

  3. Collaborate with management to execute technology projects aligned with strategic objectives.

  4. Ensure team goals are met and maintain high satisfaction levels among internal customers and business partners.

  5. Manage lifecycle and modernization of platforms and tools (e.g., Salesforce, Jira), including obsolescence planning and updates.

  6. Oversee testing activities to ensure quality standards and implement IT security practices in line with organizational policies.

  7. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations of external service providers and manage vendor relationships.

  8. Lead HR functions for the team, including recruitment, performance evaluations, talent development, and team building.

  • Experience in project management, IT solutions development, and team leadership

  • Knowledge of French required for positions in Quebec

  • Advanced proficiency in English

  • Expert knowledge of Azure and Salesforce Suite (Service, Market, Data, Experience Cloud)

  • Experience with application development cycles and modern development approaches (Agile, DevSecOps)

  • Expertise in IT fields such as development, QA, project management, software architecture, cloud computing

  • Understanding of the credit card market and retail banking industry is advantageous
