Apprentice Powerline Technician - Sault Ste. Marie

Valard Construction LP is a premier powerline contractor, serving clients in both public & private sectors. We offer construction services in overhead and underground transmission and distribution systems, substations, fiber optics, as well as substation and transmission foundations.

Valard Construction LP is seeking qualified Apprentice Powerline Technicians to join our team. We are looking for self-motivated, team players, dedicated individuals who are willing to work as part of a dynamic team that provides crucial support to Valard’s projects in the Sault Ste. Marie area.

Minimum Requirements:

• DZ license minimum, preference given to AZ license.
• First aid/CPR training.
• Working at Heights Ontario Training.
• Transmission line work experience.
• Safety oriented.
• Willing to travel/work extended shifts.
• Preference given to candidates with Bruce Power security clearance.
