Job Requirements:

MATRIX is looking for an experienced Class 1 Truck Driver to join the team. This position will be responsible for driving our new Transport Truck back and forth form Saskatoon to Terrace to Osoyoos and other locations as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures health and safety by following company policies & processes and acting in a responsible manner at all times, while on the job
• Performs all pre and post trip inspections to ensure effective operation of truck and equipment
• Loading, unloading, and fasten materials safety and securely
• Performs roadside repairs as needed
• Complete all required safety paperwork
• General laborer duties as required
  
  
  

Required Knowledge & Experience

• Minimum of 1-2 years truck driving experience
• Previous remote location experience, preferred
• Must be willing to travel for work
• Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
• Physical ability to lift and move a minimum of 50 lbs., Walk and stand for long periods of time and perform physical labor
• Able to maintain a high level of performance over a 12 hour shift
  
  
  

Preferred Licensing & Certifications:

• Minimum Class 1 License
• Must have a clean five (5) year commercial drivers abstract
• Valid Safety Tickets (First Aid/CPR, TDG, Fall Protection)
  
  
  

Salary Range

$475/day depending on skills and experience.
