Job description

Qualifications

Candidates must have Technological Education qualifications and be members in good standing or in the process of becoming Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) qualified prior to the start date.

Additional Requirements
  • Provide at least three professional, supervisory teaching references if external to YRDSB, including full name, position, work location, and email.
  • Internal applicants should include all teaching experiences and two references, one of which must be a YRDSB administrator.
  • Provide a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) within six months prior to the start date, based on your home address in Canada.
Referees

Examples include:

  • Principal/Vice-Principal
  • Faculty or Practicum Advisor
  • Mentor Teacher
  • Other professional references related to teaching practice
