CNC Machinist

Our client, located in Windsor, ON, has an immediate opportunity for CNC Machinists:

Shift – Steady Afternoon shift

Pay Rate: $25-35/hr based on experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform each essential duty with precision and with little supervision
2. Read process sheets, blueprints and/or sketches of part to determine final product
3. Review specifications to determine set up procedure, machining sequence and dimensions of finished product
4. Responsible for creating/proving/editing 2/3 axis programs
5. Responsible for set-up / FAI / operation of 3/4/5 axis CNC machine tools
6. Ensure effective production of quality parts by checking drawings or sketches, using gauges and other measuring equipment to verify parts

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years experience in a Tool & Die environment
2. Experience in programming, setup, and operation of 3-5 axis machines
3. Experience programming with Lemoine and CAM-Tool
4. Experience with 5-Axis Haas and 3-Axis Fadal controllers an asset
5. Experience with check fixtures an asset
6. Steady afternoon shift
