Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) currently has an exciting Budget Planning and Incentive Strategy opportunity within our Lexus department. This is a 12-month contract / acting opportunity, reporting to the Manager, Lexus Planning & Strategy. The candidate will hold a highly autonomous position, serving as the architect of detailed budgets and forecasts, supporting Lexus’ overall profitability and business objectives. Acting as the primary liaison between Toyota Division and Finance & Accounting, they play a crucial role in forecasting, analyzing, and communicating key budgets and insights. With high-level strategic guidance, this position ensures financial accuracy, identifies risks and opportunities, and delivers actionable recommendations to stakeholders regularly. Through proactive financial management, they help strengthen decision-making and overall business performance while optimizing resources to ensure lasting success of the Lexus brand in Canada.

What You’ll be Doing :

Lead the preparation of the Subvention and Contribution Margin budgets, including crafting and presenting comprehensive strategies to senior leadership for approval

Track and analyze Subvention, Other Promotion, and OPEX budgets throughout the fiscal year, offering actionable insights into variances and identifying areas of risk and opportunity

Conduct quarterly, annual, and Mid-Term Business Plan (MTBP) forecasts to ensure alignment with Lexus' financial goals, while proactively communicating risks and opportunities to stakeholders

Compile month-end and year-end financial results for Subvention, Other Promotion, and OPEX budgets, reconciling variances and supporting financial accuracy through reclassifications and G / L accrual details

Prepare detailed reports on Lexus Certified Pre-Owned (LCPO) vehicles results, providing valuable insights to enhance program performance

Act as brand lead for all budget-related communications, ensuring seamless collaboration with F&A and stakeholders within Toyota Division

What You’ll Bring :

University degree or college diploma in business or in a related discipline

5+ years of experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning

Advanced Excel skills required

Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to communicate complex financial information and strategies effectively to diverse stakeholders

Self-starter with the ability to manage financial processes independently while adhering to deadlines

Proficiency in financial systems, tools, and variance analysis techniques

Familiarity with SAP IBP, BI are assets
