Rogers Sports and Media is looking for an innovative and collaborative Promo Producer Editor to join our team of professionals. The successful candidate loves sports and knows what drives fans to watch, listen and engage, plus inherently understands what fans want and how to communicate with them!

Reporting to the Creative Director, Broadcast Brands, the successful candidate will be accountable for writing, editing and producing episodic and topical on-air broadcast, radio, and social promos, designed to be best-in-class, innovative and inspirational supporting RSM specialty broadcast brands (Food, HGTV, Discovery, ID and Magnolia), and other RSM media brands and Rogers Communications as required.

What you will do
  • Collaborate with other internal partners including in-house productions, design, sales, radio, other RSM and RCI departments
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative promotional ideas and campaigns
  • Copywriting, editing and sound mixing as required
  • Coordinating graphic requests with design
  • Occasional motion graphic work as required
  • Supervising and directing voice talent
  • Selecting and sourcing music
  • Color-correcting final video
  • Close captioning for broadcast

  • Demonstrated expertise with Adobe Premiere, and various edit and design tools
  • Ability to prioritize workloads and react quickly to changing priorities

  • Ability to troubleshoot and find creative solutions when technical issues arise
