Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with Engineering, Production, H&S, and Customers on the seamless execution of landed projects.
  • Ensure all work is completed on budget, on time, and in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.
  • Ensure all field crews have the equipment, materials, and appropriately-skilled personnel to complete the project.
  • Adhere to all project management policies and procedures.
  • Review projects with Project Coordinators, foremen, and onsite crews.
  • Work with Field Services scheduler, purchasing, etc. to resolve any anticipated staffing needs/changes and material purchases to avoid project delays.
  • Responsible for quality control of all completed work both onsite and in-house.
  • Gather all necessary project information and costs for the purposes of compiling and writing up change notices and out of scope work (extras).
  • Work with purchaser, suppliers, and vendors to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Work with TMG finance team to ensure all paperwork (customer files, job files, and quotes) are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
  • Participate in weekly production meetings.
  • May prepare accurate job estimates as part of an assigned portfolio.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Relevant industry work experience.
  • Post-secondary education preferred with a background in mechanical design or engineering.
  • Relevant trade certification an asset.
  • PMP certification or desire to pursue.
  • First Aid trained.
  • Strong organizational, time and budget management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD True View.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems with preference for experience working with Microsoft NAV Dynamics.
  • Willing and able to travel to customer locations as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
