Job description

Structural Assembler - Aviation

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble components on an aircraft structure.
• Proficiently read blueprints and layout holes.
• Perform countersinking and deburring.
• Fit and install conventional rivets and Hi-Lite fasteners.
• Assemble and fit pre-fabricated parts to form subassemblies at benches or directly on aircraft structures.
• Apply manual solvent, conductive chemical conversion treatment, and paint touch-up.
• Work with a variety of power and hand tools, jigs, fixtures, and other equipment.

Required Skills

• Diploma in structural repairs (must have)
• 2+ years of experience as an aircraft structural assembler
• Ability to perform drilling, countersinking, torquing, and installation as per blueprint requirements
• Completion of a metal fabrication course, aerospace structures course, aeronautical technology education, or similar

Additional Information

• Permanent and contract openings available.
• Day shift: 7am-3:30pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $52.00/hr.
