Job description

Insight Global is looking to hire an experienced PeopleSoft Financials Developer specializing in the Finance module and data extraction and conversion. This qualified individual will join our global consulting client on an implementation project from PeopleSoft to Oracle Fusion. The successful candidate must be confident in developing and writing extract scripts and SQL queries, and collaborate with team members and client resources to ensure accurate data extraction and conversion. This role will be mostly remote with limited onsite requirements in Toronto, ON.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and write extract scripts to facilitate data conversion from PeopleSoft Finance systems.
• Write and execute SQL queries on PeopleSoft databases to extract necessary financial data.
• Collaborate with client resources to ensure accurate data extraction and conversion.
• Utilize PeopleSoft backend tools and technologies, including PeopleCode, to support project requirements.
• Work closely with finance teams to understand data needs and extraction processes.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy during the extraction and conversion processes.

Must Haves :

• 10+ years of experience with Oracle PeopleSoft, specializing in the Finance module, including backend development and data extraction / conversion.
• Proficiency in writing SQL scripts and performing SQL queries to extract data from PeopleSoft Finance tables and databases.
• In-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft Finance, including backend tables and functionalities across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cash Management, Expenses, and Procurement.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft backend tools including PeopleCode, Application Designer, Application Engine.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members.

Plusses :

• Experience utilizing SQR (Structured Query Report Writer) in PeopleSoft for advanced data manipulation.
• Industry experience working with government entities, public sector clients, and / or insurance clients.
