Job description

Genesee County Co. is hiring in our customer service safety department.

This position is for our Entry Level Management Safety Department

Responsibilities include setting up and displaying fire safety information to homeowners and small business owners, based on the most current fire-related research. The goal is to ensure they are properly prepared in the event of an emergency. We assist in evaluating home risks, planning escape routes, and providing solutions. We also offer fire safety equipment such as sensors, fire extinguishers, egress ladders, burn kits, fire blankets, and more.

No experience is necessary. We will fully train all new personnel to provide information and consultation.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Communicating with clients over the phone and face-to-face.
2. Visiting clients at their homes to discuss fire safety measures.
3. Maintaining a clean and professional appearance.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Reliable transportation and a valid license are required.
• Veterans, EMS, Fire, Police personnel are preferred but not required.
• Family and team-oriented work environment.
• Proven and fast training program.
