Housing Community Safety Officer x2

Level 7 (From £33,366) | Full time | Permanent

South Essex Homes has recently added two new Housing Community Safety Officer posts to our Housing Community Safety Team. As a Community Safety Officer for South Essex Homes you will be responsible for assisting with the day to day provision of an excellent, customer focused housing management service for with a specific focus on community safety and dealing with ASB. You will manage a case load of ASB cases, including taking steps to resolve ASB at the earliest stage and where necessary, to take appropriate legal or other escalation action. In addition, you will undertake proactive community work and projects with partners and statutory agencies to tackle and prevent ASB and nuisance, enabling to feel safe in their neighbourhoods and homes.

You will have knowledge and experience of the social housing sector, particularly community safety and ASB services, a willingness to learn and develop as a housing professional and a genuine desire to make a positive difference to living in the homes that we manage.
