Finance Lead

Our client is a small but successful IT Managed services company and they are looking for a hands-on stand-alone Financial Leader. This position will oversee all financial and accounting responsibilities including general accounting, project accounting, cross-border transactions, financial reporting, and financial analysis. This is an onsite role in mid-town Toronto.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior management.
• Oversee general and project accounting; manage the billings specialist.
• Manage cross-border transactions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines.
• Achieve budgeting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective actions.
• Help develop and support short- and long-term operational strategies.
• Develop and build the department.

Requirements

• CPA designation.
• Accounting experience, preferably within a CPA firm.
• Experience in the IT services industry.
• Experience with US cross-border transactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
