Qualifications

  • Must be a minimum 2nd-year apprentice in an electrical training program.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems for efficient operations.
  • Participate in maintenance and upgrades of ski lifts and buildings.

Job Description:

The Electrician will plan, layout, assemble, install, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices, and related equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations at Lake Louise Ski Resort.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot low voltage control systems with PLC experience
  • Participate in routine and non-routine maintenance, upgrades of ski lifts, lodges, and buildings, including outdoor, on-mountain tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and projects
  • Follow work orders and project plans
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems using test equipment
  • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operational departments
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2nd-year apprentice enrolled in an electrical training program
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Adherence to Occupational Health & Safety responsibilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Intermediate to advanced skiing/snowboarding skills
  • Ability to work independently and under supervision
  • Prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Follow all LLSR policies and procedures
  • Three-month probationary period applies
  • Police background check required upon employment start
  • First aid certification is an asset
