Maintenance Technician/Mechanic

Join Our Team as a Maintenance Technician/Mechanic!

Are you skilled in industrial maintenance and looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician/Mechanic to maintain, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on our machinery and equipment. If you have a strong background in mechanical systems and can work independently in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
2. Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical (24VDC, 480VAC), pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
3. Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.
4. Dismantle machinery to access problem areas.
5. Operate metalworking tools such as drill presses and grinders.
6. Maintain forklifts and other material handling equipment.
7. Assist in installing new equipment and machinery.
8. Upgrade and modify equipment to enhance efficiency and safety.
9. Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
10. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
11. Coordinate with production staff to minimize maintenance disruptions.
12. Communicate maintenance issues and updates to supervisors and team members.
13. Collaborate with other mechanics to resolve complex problems.
14. Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and spare parts.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. 1–2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician/Mechanic preferred.
2. Experience in troubleshooting mechanical equipment.
3. HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
4. Experience with Megamation or CMMS preferred.
5. Preferably experienced with MIG/Arc welding.

Working Conditions:

1. Lift, carry, and move materials up to 85 lbs. frequently.
2. Stand and walk for 8-12 hours per shift on various surfaces.
3. Climb ladders, scaffolding, and stairs.
4. Regularly bend, stoop, crouch, and kneel.
5. Push and pull heavy machinery and equipment.
6. Possess color vision for tasks like wiring.
7. Occasionally perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
8. Exposure to seasonal temperature changes, dust, and loud noise (hearing protection provided).
9. Exposure to heavy equipment, moving conveyors, and forklift traffic.
