Job description

Job Responsibilities
  • Analyze financials to assess credit risk
  • Register and renew securities (GSA, LOCs, etc.)
  • Review credit limits and bad debt reserves annually
  • Evaluate new dealer applications
  • Support the Controller with dealer setup / termination
  • Secure credit approvals and release units
  • Resolve declined approvals with internal teams
  • Handle overdue collections and bankruptcies if escalated
  • Approve parts orders and monitor internal purchases
  • Maintain credit databases and update finance info
  • Respond to credit inquiries and process dealer trades
  • Prepare credit reports and support ad hoc requests
About You
  • 4+ years of experience assessing Credit Applications—analyzing applications, assessing risk factors, credit worthiness, approving / declining based on assessments, and providing recommendations
  • Advanced Excel skills—pivot tables, VLOOKUP, working with large data sets
  • Experience with a large ERP system; Microsoft Business Central preferred
  • Bilingual in English and French; very strong communication skills are a plus
  • Experience in Automotive, Manufacturing, or Distribution industries preferred
  • College / University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a strong asset
  • Experience assisting with system implementations is an asset
Salary Range

80,000 - $90,000 / year
