Location : Saint-Hyacinthe Plant

Reports to : Plant Quality Manager

As a Quality Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing product quality and food safety within the packaging department. If you are passionate about setting quality standards, managing continuous improvement projects, and working as part of a team, this role is for you. You will help ensure product excellence while supporting a culture of quality at the Saint-Hyacinthe plant.

Your main responsibilities will include :

  1. Developing a quality culture – Promote quality within the department and lead initiatives for its continuous improvement. Act as a resource person for the packaging department regarding quality.
  2. Managing quality projects – Lead projects aimed at improving food safety and product quality.
  3. Monitoring quality performance indicators – Track quality performance indicators and participate in daily, weekly, and monthly performance review meetings.
  4. Verifying quality standards – Ensure compliance with quality standards, monitor non-conformities, and implement necessary corrective actions.
  5. Food safety – Evaluate the effectiveness of the food safety system through internal audits.
  6. Process optimization – Optimize tools and continuous improvement strategies to ensure food safety and product quality.
  7. Quality investigations and action plans – Support quality investigations and develop action plans to resolve quality gaps.

What we are looking for :

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or a post-secondary diploma combined with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in team management.
  • Knowledge of the HACCP program and GFSI standards.
  • Experience in the dairy industry.
  • Mastery of TPM principles.
  • Knowledge of SAP (a plus) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Bilingualism (French and English, spoken and written).
  • Ability to influence teams and facilitate communication.
  • Energetic, autonomous, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team to achieve common goals.
