Title: SAP Business Objects Data Services Development-Junior

Duration: 3 Months
Duration of Potential Extension: Up to 9 months

Description of Assignment:

• The candidate will support the City of Toronto's FSTP Project (Financial System Transformation Program) through assignments as directed by management.
• The City is establishing a centralized team (Data Surge Team) to lead and execute data activities across FSTP (cleansing, construction, transforming and mapping).
• Given the volume, complexity and sources of data at the City, it is critical that there are dedicated and appropriately skilled resources available to prepare data for the SAP S/4HANA implementation. Under the guidance of the FSTP project manager, the Data Analyst & Integrators temporary resources will work with existing project staff to form a data surge team to support this work.

Skills and Certifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Diploma or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Knowledge of SAP (FICO) and/or S/4HANA.
• Experience with data extraction, manipulation, and cleansing tools.

Assignment Duties:

1. Provide technical support and assist with performing data cleaning, manipulation, analysis, and visualization on data to deliver insights and contribute to evidence-informed decision-making.
2. Ensure data quality, identify errors, and perform data cleaning to ensure accuracy and significance.
3. Assist with incident management, eDiscovery support, and investigations.
4. Troubleshoot and communicate analysis results to internal and external stakeholders.
