The Position

At Casino Rama, our dining experience begins with a commitment to cleanliness, safety, and efficiency. The Kitchen Utility Attendant (Kitchen Porter) plays a vital role in maintaining this excellence by handling dishwashing, cleanliness, and sanitation tasks in the back of house. This role is ideal for someone eager to start a career in hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Load/unload dishes, glassware, and cutlery into cleaning machines and store cleaned items.
• Maintain cleanliness of storage rooms, kitchens, utilities, halls, bars, and other service areas.
• Remove food from dishes and handle dirty dishes on conveyor belts.
• Wash floors, power wash garbage areas, steam clean, scrub tiles, and manage waste and recyclables.
• Comply with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Foster positive employee relations and perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Require

• Experience in Kitchen Services and knowledge of cleaning equipment/chemicals is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and work in heat, chemicals, noise, steam, odors, and slippery floors.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• French language skills are an asset.
• Compliance with health and safety policies and a positive safety attitude.
