The Hazardous Liquids Transloader's primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently unload/load sand and hazardous liquids in/out of rail cars/trucks within the facility. Ensure operators and truck personnel follow proper guidelines when picking up at the facility.

Job Duties:
  • Safely transload various materials, including hazardous and non-hazardous bulk liquids and dry bulk products.
  • Operate a locomotive and perform rail switch operations.
  • Operate trans-loading equipment such as an air compressor, transfer pumps, portable conveyor system, portable trans-loader, and hand tools.
  • Operate mobile equipment including passenger vehicles and light/heavy utility vehicles.
  • Engage in professional interaction and collaboration with Twin Eagle team members and customers.
  • Participate in hazardous material handling and safety training programs.
  • Assist with general maintenance, clean-up, and other duties as assigned.
  • Troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment (hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, etc.).
  • Demonstrate strong mechanical skills.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Travel to other sites as needed.

  • Ability to work alone and unsupervised.
  • Ability to work outdoors in hot and cold temperatures.
  • Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements:
  • Climb on and off rail cars and locomotives.
  • Operate rail-car hand brakes and switches.
  • Sit, kneel, squat, bend, stand, and climb on elevated surfaces.
  • Work at heights and on uneven ballast surfaces for extended periods.
  • Lift up to 15 lbs. routinely and up to 50 lbs. as needed.
  • Operate basic hand tools.
  • Wear required PPE, including FR clothing.
