The Project Services group is instrumental in leading a successful execution of the West White Rose Project. In supporting the delivery of the change management and cost control programs, you will be exposed to all areas of a large-scale project and colleagues of different trades who come from a wide variety of backgrounds. A person who has an enthusiasm to learn, engage with others, and promote systematic methods towards problem-solving is best suited to do this job.

What you’ll do

  • Assist the Project Services group in processes that encompass the resources, procedures and tools for the planning, monitoring, and controlling of the West White Rose Project.

  • Support the change management and cost control function within the group.

  • The role requires the candidate to be engaged with internal project partners across multiple project scopes of work, including fabrication of the Topsides fabrication, construction of the Concrete Gravity Structure, Subsea EPCI, Marine Planning and Operations, and Operational Readiness.

  • The position requires the candidate to follow defined practices and processes as well as to foster compliance with these processes within the project.

  • The candidate will support decision-makers and have opportunities to influence processes accordingly.

  • Depending on the project tasks and workloads, there may be opportunities to support other functions such as estimating, risk management and/or planning.

Who you are

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

  • Legally authorized to work in Canadafull-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa)

  • Available to begin work in September 2025

  • Experience working with a database software tool (e.g. MS Excel, MS Access)

  • Basic understanding of construction projects, project management and/or the oil and gas industry

  • Demonstrates emotional intelligence and organizational understanding to engage with wide range of project personnel.

  • Seeks diverse ideas, opinions, and insights to advance effective change management, cost control and work processes.

  • Communicates in a clear, respectful, and concise manner.

  • Openly listens to those around them with curiosity and actively questions to ensure mutual understanding.

  • Aligns actions with words; seeks to do the right thing.

  • Seeks to understand facts, interpret data, and apply knowledge.

Education

  • Must be enrolled in an Engineering Undergraduate Program (all disciplines will be considered) at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term

  • Candidates currently enrolled in either a Master's or Ph. D program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered

  • New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
