Base pay range: $17.00 / hr - $19.00 / hr

Shift Hours: 3pm - 3:30am; weekend availability required

Summary

This position is responsible for preparing and combining ingredients into the Mixer Machine and completing the batch as per the batch sheet instructions.

Responsibilities

• Receive batch sheet from lead person.
• Ensure the Mixer Machine is clean and ready.
• Gather all required materials and ingredients.
• Verify batch sheet matches the ingredients before mixing.
• Follow batch sheet specifications, monitor the batch and ingredients for completeness and abnormalities.
• Assist in sanitation of the work area.
• Check batch condition and temperature, then deliver to extruder.
• Maintain knowledge of GMP / GSP / Quality Control standards.
• Complete all assigned batches; do not leave batches unattended or incomplete.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in food manufacturing.
• Basic math skills for specifications and control charts.
• Basic computer literacy.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Make minor equipment adjustments with tools.
• Stand for extended periods.
