Job Summary

Are you looking to grow your career in the insurance industry and gain hands-on experience in both administrative processes and claims handling? We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Adjuster to join our team for a 6-month contract. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to the world of claims adjusting in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Role Overview

As a Junior Adjuster, you will play a key role in supporting our claims operations team. This in-office role involves a mix of administrative responsibilities and entry-level adjusting duties, with a focus on windshield claims and smaller property damage (PD) claims. You’ll also be involved in rental car coordination, customer contact, and various internal claims processes.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Duties:

• Create and send customer correspondence including letters and emails

• Generate and process claim cheques

• Upload and organize documents in the claims system

• Assign claims to adjusters and vendors

• Support internal workflow processes as needed

Adjusting Duties:

• Handle windshield claims from intake to resolution

• Coordinate rental vehicle arrangements for claimants

• Initiate contact with customers to gather claim information

• Assist with smaller auto property damage (PD) claims

• Support senior adjusters with file management and follow-ups

Skills & Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a related field (insurance, business, or administration) is an asset

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new systems

• Customer-first mindset and a team player

• Prior experience in an insurance environment is a plus, but not required
