What you will be doing

1. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
2. Administer medications in the patient's home, specialty clinics, and Physician Partnership clinic settings.
3. Assess and monitor pre- and post-injection/infusion treatments as directed by program protocols.
4. Complete necessary documentation based on policies, procedures, and standards of practice including those from the College of Nurses and Innomar ISO accreditation.
5. Provide patient and caregiver education based on product monographs and program protocols, either individually or in groups.
6. Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints in accordance with Innomar policies and training.
7. Ensure reliable availability to meet the needs of the IBU and key performance indicators.
8. Communicate and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to meet scheduling and treatment timelines.
9. Communicate with patients and caregivers to set up appointments and coordinate drug delivery to home and clinic.
10. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to maintain professional standards.
11. Adhere to professional nursing standards and work collaboratively within the healthcare team, delegating tasks as authorized.
12. Travel within designated IBUs to meet operational needs.
13. Follow all standard operating procedures, work instructions, and health and safety standards.
14. Complete ongoing education and training within specified timeframes.
15. Perform other duties as required by Innomar.

What your background should look like

1. Experience and Educational Requirements:
2. Relevant experience as a Registered Nurse is required.
3. At least 1 year of IV initiation experience.
4. Current registration with a licensing body and CPR certification.
5. Experience in critical care, emergency, acute care inpatient/outpatient, or homecare settings.
6. Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, MS, CVAA, and central venous line experience are assets.
7. Proficient in MS Office applications and internet use.
8. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
9. Ability to work independently and travel within the assigned area.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

1. Knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry and business acumen are assets.
2. Strong critical thinking, organizational, and time management skills.
3. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to meet deadlines and resolve issues efficiently.
5. Self-directed and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
6. Valid driver’s license and insurance.
