Job description

Alstar Group of Companies Ltd. has been providing quality construction services to the oil & gas industry since 1969. Located in Calgary & Leduc with projects throughout Western Canada, we are a leader in the industry for turn-key new construction, maintenance and prefabrication.

Position Details:

  • This is a contract position requiring you to provide a truck, fuel, and technology.
  • Camp / LOA with accommodations provided and a flat rate to cover travel, typically by vehicle.
  • Various shift rotations and mid to long-term projects available.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in direct field operations in an HSE role
  • NCSO certification mandatory
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to the company safety culture
  • Certifications such as CSTS-20, WHMIS 2015, CSO, Standard First Aid, HS2 Alive, and Fall Protection
  • Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • Oil and gas experience is an asset but not required
  • Ability to work comfortably in all weather conditions
  • Willing to travel away from home for extended periods
  • Proficient computer skills (Google suite)
  • Contractors must provide their own truck, computer, and phone

Project Locations:

  • Projects are located throughout Western Canada
  • Willingness to travel to various sites as required
  • Travel may be sporadic and extensive
