We are looking for a full time Deli Assistant to join our Team in Airside, Swords, Co. Dublin.

To work collaboratively with the Site Management team and other Team Members to help drive the Deli and ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and quality food produce.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

As a Deli Team Member you will be required to assume additional responsibility in all areas of the Deli operation, as the business needs require, this includes:

Job Role Specifics:

  • Ensure and take responsibility for the efficient day-to-day running of deli unit
  • Ensure that the deli reflects company's standards of merchandising, presentation and Customer Care
  • Achieve sales, margins, wastage targets
  • Implement the HACCP food safety management system
  • Maintain Health and Safety standards on site, as per the Company Handbook and Safety Statement.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and appearance of the deli area
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety issues and legislation regarding the sale of all food items
  • Competently deal with site visits from internal and external sources
  • Supervise opening/closing of the deli.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum 1 years' deli experience;
  • As an ambitious individual you will welcome opportunities to gain knowledge and assume additional responsibility ;
  • Level 1 knowledge of food safety is highly desirable
  • Highly driven with a strong work ethic;
  • Passion for food and health and safety
  • Thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
