What is the opportunity :
Reporting to the Manager, the Audit Specialist, provides active support to both day to day operations and strategic initiatives for the SA&C program. The Audit Specialist will participate in quality assurance of COR / SECOR audits which requires both a review of submitted materials as well as directly engaging auditors and company representatives to discuss and address any challenges or concerns arising from reviewed audits. The Specialist would also be expected to execute a COR or COR Verification Audit on an as needed basis. The Specialist will also be expected to participate in planning and delivery of engagement / training events with ESC certified auditors and employers and carry responsibilities for ESC’s engagement with provincial COR program governing bodies and other industry certifying partners. The Specialist will also be expected to participate in project work and especially collaborative development of strategic initiatives, including the evolution of the COR program in the context of new and emerging safety theory.
