Cataraqui Conservation is hiring a Conservation Operations Seasonal Support member to maintain facilities and assist with various outdoor tasks. Primary Reporting Location: Operations Shop - Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area, Kingston, Ontario
Secondary Reporting Location: Operations Shop – Lemoine Point Conservation Area, Kingston, Ontario
Status: Seasonal contract (11 weeks), from June 16 to August 30, 2025
Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday to Thursday, 6:30 am - 5:00 pm, with an unpaid lunch hour
Compensation: Level 2 – Step 1, $25.55/hour (based on 2025 grid)
As a key member of the Operations & Maintenance Team, the Conservation Operations staff is responsible for maintaining facilities, equipment, land, and property. Responsibilities include grass cutting, landscaping, trail maintenance, assisting dam operations, and supporting trade-related tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, mechanical tasks, painting, cleaning, and small engine repair and maintenance.
Other duties as assigned.
