Job description

The Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board

Invites Applications For The Position Of

Employee Services Assistant - Human Resources (1.0 FTE Temporary 12 Month Contract)

Reporting to the Manager of Employee Services, the Employee Services Assistant will support the Employee Services Department in areas such as Office Administration, Automated Callout System, Occupational Health and Safety, Internal and External Recruitment, Staff Orientation, Attendance Support, Employee Wellness, Return to Work, WSIB, HRIS, and Labour Relations assistance.

Post-secondary education in Business Administration - Human Resources or Office Administration is required.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suites, along with superior analytical, organizational, and customer service skills. Attention to detail and accuracy are essential, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required. Excellent interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively are also important.
