Qualification Path

No prior professional experience is required; however, passing the basic requirements and a standard assessment process are necessary. This is a part-time, long-term project with standard quality assurance checks throughout.

Basic Requirements
  • Full professional proficiency in English
  • Residency in Canada for the past year, with familiarity with current and historical Canadian media, business, sports, news, social media, and cultural affairs
  • An active email address linked to an Apple ID, with experience using Apple products
  • Up-to-date knowledge of trends in applications, music, and video, with a keen interest in internet research
  • Flexibility to work on various task types, including news, audio, and relevance assessments
  • Access to a secure broadband internet connection, computer, and relevant software daily
  • Ability to work independently, adapt to innovative methodologies, and communicate effectively
  • High school diploma or higher is preferred, but exceptional skills are also considered.
  • Important: Ensure your registration email matches your active and up-to-date Apple ID email. Mismatched emails will result in disqualification.
Assessment
  • Complete an open-book qualification exam to determine suitability, followed by ID verification. Guidelines and learning materials will be provided. The exam must be completed within a specified timeframe, but scheduling is flexible.
