The Chief Medical Physicist reports professionally to the Head of Radiation Therapy and administratively to the Senior Director and Senior Medical Director of Cancer Care. This role involves overseeing medical physics services, education, and research, with responsibilities including developing graduate education, research, and ensuring safe, effective radiation therapy delivery according to current standards. The position includes an academic appointment at Dalhousie University, with a cross-appointment to the Department of Physics and Atmospheric Science.
This is a permanent, full-time position on a renewable 5-year assignment.
