About The Role

We’re seeking a full-time, permanent Operations Manager to join our HearCANADA Retail Prairies team. This role supports the operations of our clinics in Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. Travel within the territory is expected to provide onsite support to clinical teams, and the candidate should be based within a reasonable distance to an airport in AB, SK, or MB.

Reporting to the Divisional Sales Director, you will bring multi-site operations experience from retail or healthcare settings, with a strong analytical and methodical approach. Experience in empowering teams to exceed KPIs and targets, along with providing data-driven recommendations, is essential.

Frequent travel (~60%) throughout the territory is required. Access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license are necessary.

What You Will Do
  • Oversee operational aspects within assigned clinics, including staff training, coaching, development, performance discussions, and hiring support.
  • Create and maintain SOPs for clinics, covering scheduling, patient recall, database management, etc.
  • Support clinical and company initiatives like product launches, pricing updates, and customer events.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and their impact on operations.
  • Provide regular updates on KPIs and project results.
  • Support clinic relocations, buildouts, closures, and acquisitions through documentation and risk analysis.
  • Assist with projects to enhance brand awareness and revenue, including marketing and community initiatives.
  • Maintain communication with staff and managers to understand clinic challenges and successes.
What We Are Looking For
  • Over 3 years of success in retail or clinic operations.
  • At least 2 years of operational leadership, training, and coaching experience, preferably in multi-site environments.
  • Experience in data-driven environments, monitoring KPIs.
  • Technical proficiency with tools and software, including MS Office, CRM, POS, and EMR systems.
  • Experience with operations for new locations is a plus.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Analytical mindset for evaluating problems and solutions.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 60% across Western Canada.
