Machinist - Aircraft Maintenance, Delta BC
We are looking for a Red Seal Provincially Certified Machinist to join our Delta-based client in the aviation/aircraft engineering and maintenance industry. Reporting to the Team Leader, the role will be responsible for performing one or more of the following processes in the repair of engine rotables or aircraft components: machine grinding, machine milling, machine turning, hand polishing, CNC operation & programming, and general inspection.
The Aviation Machinist would be someone who has excellent mechanical aptitude, has the ability to interpret drawings and documentation, has completed a recognized apprenticeship or has a minimum of 4 years equivalent experience relevant to the implementation of technical work on engines/modules, and most importantly, possesses a recognized provincial machinist trade qualification. The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal/teamwork, organizational, and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

The selection process will consist of an interview and skills assessment.
NOTE: MACHINISTS MAY BE EXPECTED TO FOLLOW STANDARD WORK SHIFT ROTATION. THOSE UNABLE TO DO SO WILL BE ELIMINATED FROM THE COMPETITION.
