Job description

• Primary hours of work are after school (3:15 pm - 5:30 pm).
• Supervise and implement developmentally appropriate child care programming based on licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with OSC coordinator and staff.
• Maintain a positive attitude with strong leadership, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking, team-oriented environment.

Technical Skills Required:

• Educational background in child care services. Level 1 Training is required and provided at no cost. Funding may be available to support training for Level 2 & 3 licenses.
• Must be compassionate, patient, and empathetic towards students and families.
• Experience with technology, including smartphones and Google Classroom.
• Valid First Aid certification (training and cost covered) and food safety certification.

Alberta certification is an asset. Proficiency in using technology platforms such as Google and Microsoft Suite is preferred.
