Job description

Connectivity is a concept that involves both digital aspects, such as the creation of mobile applications, and the integration of digital experiences with BRP's recreational vehicles through the intelligent use of recorded data. Our goal is to introduce new value-added concepts for our customers, dealers, and internal teams.

Role Overview

As a UX designer within the connectivity and application development team, reporting to the strategy team lead, you will focus on designing the connected user experience and conducting UX research for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. User Research: Identify research needs, develop plans, recruit participants, conduct interviews, and synthesize findings to inform design.
  2. UX Artefacts: Create user journeys and flow diagrams.
  3. Prototyping: Develop quick prototypes, mock-ups, and clickable models collaboratively with team members.
  4. Wireframes: Develop wireframes with functional specifications.
  5. Testing & Feedback: Test concepts with users, gather feedback, and communicate findings to the development team.
  6. Vision Development: Define the mobile and connected experience for the BRP ecosystem from the customer's perspective, ensuring alignment with the multidisciplinary team.
  7. Workshops & Principles: Lead collaborative workshops and promote Design Thinking principles.
Qualifications & Qualities
  1. Minimum five years of experience in UI/UX design and development.
  2. Strong proficiency in UX with a good sense of UI design.
  3. Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Axure, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Cloud.
  4. Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  5. Technical understanding of digital development to grasp platform constraints and standards.
