Export Coordinator

Role Overview

ABS Global, a Genus Company, has an exciting opportunity! We are looking for an Export Coordinator to join our team in DeForest, WI. This role is a key part of our global operations, ensuring seamless order fulfillment, export compliance, and communication with our customers and distributors.

The Export Coordinator has primary accountability for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of product needs for ABS Global entities, distributors, and customers. This role will be responsible for coordinating shipments, inventory management, and compliance checks in a fast-paced, global environment.

The salary range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr. USD. The salary provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Genus considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

You Will

• Receive and process customer or sales manager order requests and provide timely feedback.
• Ensure product availability and prepare proforma invoices for international distributors.
• Manage inventory and coordinate shipments to meet country health certificate and export compliance requirements.
• Communicate effectively with customers, distributors, and internal teams, providing updates on shipment status and addressing concerns.
• Execute shipment bookings with freight forwarders and ensure all shipping documentation meets country regulations and Incoterms.
• Resolve order or shipping issues promptly, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications: (required)

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 2+ years of Customer Service experience
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in business, Animal Science, or a related field
• Experience with exporting regulated products
• Dangerous Goods certification
