Qualifications

Job description

Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Coordinator – Afternoon Shift
Location: London, ON Plant – On site
Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor
Job Overview

Under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is responsible for preparing all outbound paperwork for shipments to the warehouse or direct to customers. The Coordinator uses various computer systems, including SAP, to update information and generate shipping documents (BOL, Custom invoice, etc.). The role requires excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Include
  1. Preparing outgoing paperwork for MTS SKUs shipping to US & Canada warehouses.
  2. Preparing outgoing paperwork for MTO tankers shipping to both US & Canadian customers (BOL, CCI, Cofa).
  3. Tracking inbound shipments and monitoring the trailer pad to reduce demurrage charges.
  4. Coordinating courier shipments such as customer samples, QA samples for FG testing, or raw material testing for resampling and shelf-life extensions.
  5. Arranging expedites with carriers and logistics providers for rush orders for MTO and MTS items.
  6. Coordinating all internal plant shipments, including component non-standard shipments (STO to Candiac, Macon, etc.).
  7. Assisting in resolving shipment and delivery issues with customers and suppliers.
  8. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory and shipping records.
  9. Collaborating with the Inventory Coordinator to resolve inventory discrepancies.
  10. Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
  11. Loading and unloading trailers and moving loads as required.
  12. Performing other duties as assigned.
Skills, Certifications, or Special Training Required
  1. Grade 12 education; post-secondary education or previous work experience considered an asset.
  2. 3-5 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
  3. Detail-oriented with strong multitasking skills.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  5. Experience with SAP is required.
  6. Knowledge of TDG regulations is an asset.
  7. Forklift license is an asset.
  8. Results-oriented with a sense of urgency.
  9. Energetic, enthusiastic, and committed to the team.
  10. Disciplined with high work standards.
  11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  12. Versatile team player with a focus on customer service.
  13. Ability to prioritize workload, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
