Part-Time Facility Monitor Position

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1.5 hours per day / 10.5 hours weekly

Location: Alexandria

Compensation: $17.20 per hour plus gas allowance, with full benefits

Job Description

We are seeking a Facility Monitor for an immediate opening within the West Ottawa Area. With over 50 years of operation and more than 500 employees across multiple provinces, Domus has an excellent reputation as a janitorial services provider.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Picking litter outside during off hours
• Performing building maintenance duties
• Wiping down furnishings, windows, and doors
• Applying pesticide to control pests such as mosquitoes, wasps, ticks, and others
• Collecting and disposing of trash regularly
• Following policies, guidelines, and rules to ensure a safe working environment
• Performing other duties as required

• Previous cleaning/janitorial experience is an asset
• Ability to lift 40 lbs or more regularly
• Effective communication in English
• Reliable and dependable
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Resident of the Ottawa/Alexandria region
